Custom Intinerary Example

Day 1 Drive From Leh towards Alchi & Lamayuru, stay overnight at the Mulbeckh, Jampa gateway on the border to Zanskar

Day 2-3 Drive via Kargil up and into the Zanskar valley and camp overnight in Rangdum (see snow mountaan ranges appear on the way. Continue via glacier and high valley planes and descend into Padum (dumpy roads)

Day 4 Relax and Explore Padum

Day 5 Drive up the valley to meet with Horses, and start trek up the Zanskar trail on Indiana Jones like trails with Sky Blue water and ancient bridges and rest in Purne camp & village

Day 6 Trek by foot up towards Dzongkul cave monastery and explore the ancient secret hidden valley, overnight Monastery guesthouse

(from here it is possible with a 8 Days Trek arriving in Lamayuru)

Day 7 Trek alternative route (Danger) to Cha village (or same trek as previous)

Day 8 Trek slowly down towards lunch place were jeep is parked and drive slowly via Bardan monastery and to Padum

(rest day in Padum if wished for)

Day 9 Drive slowly back to Rangdum and explore the landscape

Day 10 Drive slowly via Kargil towards Campsite in Shargol (cave monastery) / Poker village

Day 11 Day Trek to the Hidden Beyul of Orgyen Dzong (Guru Rinpoche cave & Meditation complex)

Day 12 Drive back towards Lamayuru and explore the place of Liberation (Tharpaling)

Day 13 Drive towards Tingmosgang and explore the village

Day 14 Relaxing day in Tingmosgang

Day 15 Drive back to Leh

Day 16 Fly Leh Delhi & Onwards...
